Who signs in

One record, three groups working from it.

A stay gets entered once, at the front desk. After that, the hotel, the state tax office and the system team all work from that same entry — each seeing only the part their job needs.

  1. HotelsHotels, guest houses and short-lets

Sign in arriving guests, check their ID, and manage rooms, staff and payments. A hotel only ever sees its own guests.

  2. The stateOyo State tax office

See stays across the state and check the rules are being followed. They can look at guest records but not change them, and every time they look, it's logged.

  3. System teamAdministrators

Set up new hotels and keep the system running. The only role that can see every hotel at once.

Why OGIVS

A paper guest book proves nothing. A shared record does.

OGIVS gives the hotel, its front desk and the state one shared record of every guest and every stay — the same one, updated at the same time.

Before OGIVS

  • Guest books were on paper or in spreadsheets.
  • Every hotel kept its own separate records.
  • The state couldn't see who was staying where.
  • Honest hotels had no easy way to prove they followed the rules.

With OGIVS

  • One shared record for the hotel, its front desk and the state.
  • Everyone sees the same up-to-date information.
  • Who checked in, whose ID was confirmed, and where they stayed — as it happens.
  • A full history the state can check itself, not take on anyone's word.
The process

How a stay becomes a record.

From the guest at the front desk to the stay on the register — every step is checked, saved, and shows who did it.

    01

    Guest arrives

The front desk takes the guest's phone number and a photo of their ID.

    02

    ID checked

The ID is checked with the government office that issued it, straight away.

    03

    Stay recorded

The room and the dates are saved against the guest.

    04

    On the register

The stay joins one record the hotel and the state both work from, showing who entered it and when.

Register your property
Check-in didn't get slower. The desk adds a phone number and a photo of the ID, and the result is back before the guest has finished the arrival card.

We can show we're following the rules without it coming down to someone's word.

When the revenue office asks about a month, it's already there. We're not going through a paper book to answer.
